What a visit looks like

One visit can solve a surprisingly long list.

We review your list before scheduling. That protects your time, keeps pricing clear, and prevents surprises at the door. During the visit, you decide whether you want us to simply handle each task or explain the process as we go.

The service is designed for patience and continuity. At launch, the founder handles visits directly. As the team grows, families will be able to request a preferred helper.

A Springfield help list might include:

  • Increase phone text size and simplify the home screen
  • Reconnect the printer and show how to scan a document
  • Hang a lightweight shelf and two photos
  • Bring seasonal items up from an accessible storage area
  • Organize one kitchen cabinet and label everyday items
  • Tidy porch planters and replace a hard-to-reach bulb

Common questions

Before you schedule.

Do you provide senior home care?

No. Grandkid On Call provides technology help and clearly defined small projects. We do not provide cleaning or housekeeping, companionship, personal care, medication assistance, supervision, transportation, or medical services.

Can an adult child schedule a visit?

Yes. A family member can arrange and pay for a visit, share the task list, and be included in scheduling updates when the older adult agrees.

What areas do you serve?

Our initial service area is Springfield, with limited availability in Chatham, Sherman, and Rochester. We confirm travel before every booking.

Can I put several small tasks into one visit?

Absolutely. A written help list is encouraged. We will review it before the visit, confirm which items fit our service, and work from highest priority to lowest.
